Raoul Manuel Schnell is a photographer from Germany and grew up in both Italy and Switzerland; he moved to Canada in 2004. He explores the use of light and shadows in his photos and focuses on human feature as psychological mirror.

From 2012 – 2013, an expensive and extensive refit of the Bluenose II, a 1960s replica of the famous Bluenose, was undertaken. We can assume these men were part of the team of shipwrights and experts from the Lunenburg Shipyard Alliance tasked with restoring the Bluenose II to its full grace and majesty.
